Who We Are

Who We Are

The Oikonomia Network is a learning community of theological educators and evangelical seminaries dedicated to raising up church leaders who help people develop whole-life discipleship, fruitful work and economic wisdom for God’s people and God’s world.

The network is currently impacting classes with attendance of over 7,800 students each semester. Check out our annual impact report and learn more about what our partner schools are doing to transform theological education.

The best way to get connected to our community is at our annual event, Karam Forum.

Our name is derived from the Greek term used in the New Testament to refer to discipleship responsibilities (“stewardship”) and also the management of business and the city’s public treasury (“economics”). This name embodies our conviction that discipleship to Christ leads us to value human flourishing and work to serve the common good of all our communities. See our student outcome goals for more on our purpose and vision.

The network is led by a steering committee and a director. The national office of the Oikonomia Network is located at the Center for Transformational Churches at Trinity International University. Contact us to learn more.
