Those of you who have been in our community long enough will remember that for some time, we held an annual faculty retreat – always located in a warm place and held in the first week of January – designed to give you space to escape the daily grind and enjoy community with theological educators dedicated to theology for the life of the world.
For a while we shifted to bigger, more content-heavy events. However, as burnout rates have shot through the roof, we are making a big switch this year, returning to our roots with a more relaxed and refreshing retreat event like our original gatherings.
Get away and rest from the tyranny of the urgent, refresh your connection with your calling from God in your work, and connect with fellow educators who share our vision and mission!

Highlights will include:
- Guided reflection and conversation to revitalize our sense of our calling in theological education
- Real community and collaboration – stimulating discussions, but not a lot of staged speeches and consumable “content”
- In-depth exploration of fresh missiological thinking with theological educators who are leading the way
