Karam Forum 2021 isn’t over! We are holding a Global Session on January 20 or 21 – depending on where in the world you are. We’re eager for the opportunity to connect and collaborate with our partners and friends around the globe, including those in the Pacific region who would have had to be up in the dead of night to join us in our main session on January 5.

Also, as another way to continue the conversation, we have a new webinar series coming this spring on moving from education as information to education as formation. Guests will include Barry Corey, president of Biola University, and Tom Tanner of the Association of Theological Schools. Watch for details coming soon!

For the Karam Forum Global Session, our longtime Australian partners have taken the lead in designing a catalytic program for us. Since Karam Forum began in 2017, Australian theological educators, with support from Reventure, have crossed the Pacific to join us in person at every meeting. We’re delighted that this year we can do even better, having them create a session to share with us how their schools are seizing the opportunities and facing the challenges we’ve discussed at Karam Forum!

Mark your calendar today to join us for the Karam Forum Global Session! It’s free, and no registration is required. Just point your browser to karamforum.org when it’s time for the event to begin!

  • In Australia, the global session will take place on Thursday, January 21 from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm Sydney time.
  • If you’re in the U.S., it will be on Wednesday, January 20, from 7:00-9:00pm central time (8-10pm eastern, 5-7pm Pacific) – evening, not morning!
  • If you’re elsewhere, find your date and time here!

Before joining us for the Global Session, if you were not with us for the January 5 Karam Forum event you’ll definitely want to view the videos of those presentations. See the article in this month’s newsletter for links to those videos.
