At Karam Forum 2020 in Atlanta, the Oikonomia Network presented its new 2019 Impact Report. This document introduces the mission and vision of the network, with an overview of who our partners are and what we’re doing; provides testimonies and statistics on the scope of our impact; and previews our needs and opportunities for the years ahead.

Who are these strange people in the “Oy-koh-noh-MEE-ah” network – or is it the “Oy-koh-NOH-mee-ah” network?

They’re a network partnering with 21 evangelical theological schools, carrying out a new mission in theological education that currently equips over 500 classes each semester, with enrollments totaling over 9,300 future leaders. And we have the potential to reach many more.

The problem: Millions of Christians aren’t connecting the gospel to their daily lives and work, because too many pastors aren’t equipped to connect the gospel to what their people actually do all day.

Our vision: A robust community of theological educators and schools dedicated to raising up church leaders who help people develop whole-life discipleship, fruitful work and economic wisdom for God’s people and God’s world.
